New package printing features added to Label Traxx
Tailored Solutions will introduce a number of new package printing features for its Label Traxx management software at Labelexpo Americas. The developments are part of Label Traxx Version 5.6, which is currently in beta testing and scheduled for full release later in 2010. The new features support special processes used in printing shrink sleeves, folding cartons and other multiple process converting procedures. The new software option is said to simplify estimating and running jobs which pass through as many as four presses plus a rewinder. It also includes features for various intermediate processes on each job.
Tailored Solutions’ president Ken Meinhardt said: ‘As they move more and more into package printing, Label Traxx users find themselves running complex jobs on several presses, using many processes. Our new package printing option permits accurately estimating, managing and recording such jobs. Users who have tested these features tell us that they realize significant time savings and create far more accurate estimates.’
